Eng. John Ogango is the Director General and secretary of the Board.
He holds MSc (Engineering) degree in construction Management from University of Birmingham UK in addition to First class Honours in BSc (Civil Eng.) from the University of Nairobi. Eng. Ogango is a seasoned engineer with over 26 years of extensive experience in areas of Strategic Planning, Policy Formulation, Design and Construction Supervision and Management. He has held several senior positions in the Public Service including Chief Superintending Engineer, Project Engineer. Eng. Ogango was seconded to Kenya Rural Roads Authority initially as the General Manager (Design and Construction) and later became the General Manager (Planning, Roads 2000 and Environment).He is a registered Engineer with Engineers Board of Kenya and a member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (MIEK). He is trained in Corporate Governance.
