  1. The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a State Corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007, with the responsibility for the management, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of rural roads.
  2. The Authority invites bids from eligible construction companies registered with the National
    Construction Authority (NCA) above Category NCA 1 - 8 for the Routine Maintenance and Spot Improvement of projects indicated below to be funded through RMLF Allocation for Loima Constituency for the Financial Year 2019/2020

  1. Scope of Work: The scope of works shall be indicated in the respective tender document.
  2. Mandatory Requirements Are Indicated In the Instructions to Tenderers and Invitation Pg. 2
  3. Pre-Tender Site visit is MANDATORY slated from 21st January, 2020
  4. Procurement shall be based on open tender method and the above details will be submitted with the priced bid.
  5. NOTE: Every Bidder shall be represented by one person from the company authorizing them to represent the company in the pre-tender site visit. One (1) person shall only represent two (2) companies.
  6. Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information and inspect tender documents from Procurement Office, Kenya Rural Roads Authority which is located at KeRRA Turkana offices during normal working hours.
  7. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained upon payment of a non – refundable fee
    of KShs. 1,000 (One thousand shillings only) deposited into:

  1. The Tenders will be opened promptly at or before 00 a.m. 3rd February, 2020 in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend the opening at Regional Office. Late or incomplete Tenders shall not be accepted and returned unopened.
  2. Kenya Rural Roads Authority reserves the right to accept or reject without giving reason thereof and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender. Any canvassing or giving false information will lead to automatic disqualification.
