The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a State Corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007 with the responsibility for Management, Development, Rehabilitation and Maintenance of Rural Roads network in Kenya.

 

The Authority hereby invites bids from pre-qualified contractors for the routine maintenance and spot improvement of the following roads in Meru Region for the Financial year 2018/19 to be funded through the 10% Cabinet Secretary/KRB allocation.

Procurement and evaluation will be based on the above details and post qualification criteria as stated in the Instruction to Tenderers. Serialized bid documents must be submitted in plain sealed envelope marked with tender number, road name and deposited in the relevant tender box situated at the Kenya Rural Roads Authority – Meru Regional Office, Mwendantu Road – Meru Town or addressed to the above- mentioned address:

Price quoted must be net, inclusive of all Government taxes and remain valid during the whole contract period.

So as the tenders can be received by 5th June, 2019 at 10:00am.

Opening of the bids will take place at the Regional offices in Meru immediately thereafter in presence of bidders or their representatives who wish to attend.

Canvassing and/or any form of corrupt malpractice intended to influence the outcome of the whole or part of the process will lead to automatic disqualification irrespective of the procurement stage.

Tenders submitted after the closing date and time shall be disqualified and returned to bidder un-opened.

 

Information relating to the examination, evaluation and recommendation for successful candidates shall not be disclosed to applicants or other person not officially permitted until awards are communicated.

Kenya Rural Roads Authority (Bungoma Region) wishes to invite sealed tenders from eligible pre-qualified contractors in Webuye East, Tongaren, Webuye West, Kabuchai, Kimilili and Mt. Elgon Constituencies under 22% RMLF, 22% RMLF SAVINGS and 10% RMLF FY 18-19 Constituencies for the above works. It’s a restricted tender to all pre-qualified tenderers in category “B”, “C”, “D” and “E” in the respective Constituencies for the financial years 2017/19.

Bidders are advised to make their own transport arrangements for pre-tender site visits. No transport will be provided.

INSTRUCTIONS TO TENDERERS:

  1. ONLY bidders pre-qualified in category B, C, D & E in the respective Constituencies may tender.
  2. Bidders participating under the YW&PWD need not be pre-qualified.

  • Bidders may bid for more than two tenders in a Constituency, but can only be considered for two contracts in the entire region.
  • Prices quoted must remain valid for One Hundred and Twenty (120 days) from the tender opening date.
  • Bidders who do not meet any of the above conditions will not be considered for award of any contract.

Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a State Corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act 2007 with the responsibility for management, development and maintenance of rural roads.

The Authority hereby invites bids for the following road works in Nyamira Region from prequalified construction companies with a registration of NCA 8 and above to bid on the listed roads.

Bidders are requested to downloaded full details of the advertisement and tender documents from the Authority’s website www.kerra.go.ke with effect from Tuesday 29th January, 2019 or obtained from the procurement office upon payment of Kshs.1, 000 to A/C NO. 111 434 3196, KENYA RURAL ROADS AUTHORITY, KENYA COMMERCIAL BANK, MOI AVENUE BRANCH.

  2. Valid and current certificate of registration with National Construction Authority (NCA) ,with proof of application where applicable

  4. Valid Tax compliance certificate and proof of application where applicable
  5. Written power of attorney
  6. Proof of having opened a bank account in the contractor’s name.
  7. Signed and filled Bills of quantities page
  8. Priced, Signed and witnessed Form of bid.
  9. Filled and completed business questionnaire
  10. Filled and completed schedule of labour basic rates
  11. Filled and completed Supplementary information
  12. Must Fill Declaration Form
  13. Must Fill Environmental and Social Commitment Form
  14. Must Fill Fraud and Corruption Form
  15. Prequalified in the region list
  16. Valid and current CR12 Certificate and Directors Identity Cards or Valid Passport for special groups(women, youth and people with disability) categories

Bid documents will be available from the KeRRA Website, from 3rd July, 2019.

Pre-Tender site visits shall be mandatory on 10th July, 2019. Bidders will be required to familiarize themselves with the site before tendering and must ensure the Site Visit Certificates are signed by the Deputy Director /Respective Constituency Roads Officer.
